WHAT ARE THE DALI TRADEMARKS?
The DALI trademarks are registered for ZVEI - Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V.; Stresemannallee 19; D-60596 Frankfurt am Main. Registered are the name DALI and the DALI-logo.

WHO MAY APPLY FOR THE TRADEMARK AGREEMENT?
A membership in the AG DALI includes the use of the trademarks.
Companies who do not meet the requirements for a membership but want to use the registered trademarks for marketing purposes may apply for a fee bearing licence .
WHO MUST SIGN A TRADEMARK AGREEMENT?
- Company who want to use the DALI name as a part of the products brand name
- In any case of using the logo, a licence is required.
IS FREE USE POSSIBLE?
No trademark agreement and no licence are required for the use of the DALI-trademark (name only, not logo) in cases where it is necessary to indicate the intended purpose of a product to be compatible with DALI-products (cf. Article 6 Trademark Directive 89/104/EEC, § 23 Nr. 3 Markengesetz).
